February 7th Meeting Notes: A study being performed by the East Columbia EIS Group needs our feedback concerning a possible rerouting of WW. There are currently 3 alternate routes being considered. They plan to make their final recommendation in the late Spring/Early Summer. Please visit www.eastcolumbiaeis.com to view these alternate routes. This is your chance to offer your thoughts and provide feedback.
This association needs leadership!!! Well, it needs new cabinet members. All of our cabinet members have long exceeded their terms and new members are needed. The four positions are as follows: President, Vice-President, Secretary, and Treasurer. All that is required of you is a desire to help improve your neighborhood and a little time. No other experience is needed. Look for an upcoming meeting if you want to participate.
Summer is Here!!!
There are many little things you can do to improve the look of your home and our neighborhood. These things will have a big impact on the way others see your home. This isn’t a complete list but should give all of us some ideas:
-Paint your mailbox |
-Put new numbers on your mailbox |
-Plant a flower |
-Clean up old flower beds |
-Put a new bulb/Fix your yard light |
-Trim your bushes |
-Pick up old newspapers |
-Remove fallen limbs/branches from yard |
-Paint your fence |
-Sweep grass from the street after mowing |
Doing at least one of these will greatly improve the look of your home and our neighborhood. Thanks

Many of you walk throughout our neighborhood. I’ve seen you stop while on your walk; pick up trash dropped by someone else, and continue walking. Thank you!!! What I’m asking for are more neighbors like this. Be considerate of your neighbors even if you just rent the home you currently reside in.
