Welcome to El Chaparral's Neighborhood Website

El Chaparral is located in Boone County next to Columbia Missouri. Our subdivision is located one mile east of Highway 63 on Broadway (or Highway WW once you leave the city limits). We are officially out of the city limits but enjoy all the benefits of living in the city. We are perfect for anyone who wants to live in the city but not be in the city.

 El Chaparral is within 2 miles of most basic needs: School, Hospital (2 within 5 minutes), major shopping centers containing Super Wal-Mart, Lowe's, Sam's, Home Depot, and grocery stores. We are less than 10 minutes from a movie theater and too many restaurants to name (Applebee's, Cici's Pizza, Chili's, Chinese, Sonic just to name a couple)

El Chaparral has about 400 homes. Our subdivision contains single family homes and duplexes. Most of the homes vary from 20-30 years old though a few have been built within the last 10 years.    

El Chaparral's Neighborhood Association and this website have been going for a few years. Our goal is to inform neighbors about events in the area, bring neighbors closer together and feel welcome, and as a means of communication within our neighborhood.
